Our role as an OR is highlighted by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) as a critical factor in project success. We manage risk, control costs, oversee scope and quality, and coordinate with all stakeholders, so you can focus on the big picture. I manage the entire project on your behalf—from design and planning to execution—ensuring clear communication with all parties, including you. My goal is to deliver a final product that meets your expectations, stays on schedule, and remains within budget.

Design & Sourcing

With over 20 years of vendor relationships, I help create designs for your project, including floorplans, models, and furnishings. I also handle the selection and procurement of key materials like tiles, stone, cabinetry, and finishes, saving you time and money by sourcing the latest products.

As a seasoned developer, particularly in Harlem, I’m always on the lookout for new projects. If you’re considering an investment or need someone to lead your development idea, let's talk! My expertise lies in townhouses.

West 137th  - Townhouse

With the owner based in Detroit, I was tasked with transforming this Harlem SRO into a modernized two-family home. We opened up the first floor to showcase the full width of the building, turning it into a revitalized, functional space.

West 130th  - Townhouse

Uptown Townhouse's first investment project involved converting a building in such disrepair that the previous owner wouldn’t allow me inside. We rebuilt it into a 5,000 sq ft single-family townhouse, setting a record for Harlem townhouse prices north of 125th Street in 2003. Investors saw a 30% return in one year, and the buyer resold it seven years later for double the purchase price.

La Bodega 47 Social Club - Restaurant

Restaurateur Brian Washington-Palmer came to me with the vision of transforming his popular neighborhood restaurant, "Native," into the chic, sexy "La Bodega 47 Social Club." The space was reimagined from a family-friendly atmosphere into a hidden rum bar, featuring a distinctive Cuban-inspired theme. This project won New York Magazine’s “Best First Date Bar” award, with unique elements like jalapeño-can lights and hidden bathrooms behind East Harlem-style grocery shelves.

In Uptown's first Hamptons venture, we expanded an existing two-bedroom, 1,200 sq ft residence by adding two more bedrooms, one and a half baths, and 600 sq ft of interior space without triggering town rules for HERS or septic upgrades. A roof deck with a firepit offers a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. Sculptural in style, the project, which I designed, was completed in just seven months during the 2020 Covid lockdowns.

West 88th Street - Townhouse Triplex

This Upper West Side townhouse triplex underwent a full design, demolition, and reconstruction, converting an outdated 80s design into a more open loft-style space. We modernized the entry and office, opened the second floor, and added a split-level bath/office in the extension, along with a new bath, laundry, and two bedrooms. Throughout the project, I accommodated the owner’s need to continue living in the garden unit.
